Yahooooo...after the long waiting..at last I got the chance to experienced the real snowy day..hahah..  Actually I was supposed to go to my lab, got some work to do. But when I woke-up at 7.30, I checked my friendster(since I am very addicted to friendster), and I saw Nad's posting on the bulletin saying that its snow in Newcastle..apalagi..when I opened up my curtain..wahhhhhhhh..its a real thick snow laaaaa...I was so excited that I called up some of my friends..and I asked Nazia to join me to make Mr Snowman. Kinda teringat kata Kak Zarina that she asked me to send her my first Mr Snowman picture..sedih pun ada, since my family was coming last Chritmas but theres no snowy day like this time.  ..takpe..belum ada rezeki lagi.
Then we went to the town, took some pictures on the way to my lab. Sejukkkkkkk sgt, tapi best. And we found Mr Snowman near the church, but it was so 'buruk', so I changed his eyes and nose with my strawberries and carrot and put on my hat and my scarf on him...hahaha...cantik jugak kan...
After that, we straight away went to my lab, drink some coffe for warm-up. Lepas semua keje dah siap..then Nazia and me went to Kak Ina's (a married couple with 3 childrens). Datang bawak perut (actually ada la bawak coklat for the kids), dia jamu makan. Pastu went to the field in the neighbourhood to make another snowman .
Memang lama jugak main snow with Kak Ina's family. Balik from main snow, makan lagi..lepas makan then only me n Nazia went back to our place. Letihhhhhhh sgt...rasa nak demam pun ada nie..we were all wet and even our shoes and gloves was so damp..mintak2 jgn la demam..anyway, its really a sweet memory for me

3rd Jan 2005- Bye....

~sigh~...after 10 days spent my holiday with my family its time for them to go back to Malaysia...I wish I could follow them..miss Malaysia very much...they went back to London by train( 1st class..hehe) and went to Heathrow Airport to catch a flight at 10 pm...
Tapi kecoh sekejap biler train dah sampai n ayah, mcm biasa hilang entah kemana.Nasib baik sempat naik train..kalau tidak, melayang la 125pound kali 4. fuh... 
Luckily Jua, the daughter of my dad's old friend (the late Uncle Shahdan) were with me at the station. So, i didn't feel that sad when the train slowly went away leaving me behind..gonna miss all of ya..bubbye!!

2nd Dec 2004- Shopping, St.James n Millenium Bridge

|
Last day touring newcastle before my family went back to Malaysia. Shopping at Sunday Market, Mark n Spencer, St. James Park Stadium (Newcsatle United Football Club) n dining at Kak Murni's n Dr Hilmi's house at South Shield. Thank to the couple for inviting us to their house, the Nasi Ayam was sooo yummy!

One thing I really dont like about UK, the shops are all closed on the New Year..apa la punya british?pemalas...Time cuti la org nak jln2, shopping2.. 
Malaysia is still the best..the malaysians are all rajin...
But luckily there was a fotball match at the St.James, so we kind the join the crowd on the way back to my place (since my room is just opposite the stadium)...sronok!!Join sampai depan stadium je la..hehe..from my room we can hear the jubilant supporters shouting n nyanyi2...
n newcastle won!!

31 Dec 2004- Royal Quay Factory Oulet

Remember the Ashford International Factory Outlet that we went to when we were in London? Royal Quay is one of its kind in Newcastle..mcm branch la.A bit smaller than Ashford's but it has all the things that my family looking for.
We took a Metro (mcm LRT, tp lebih buruk dr LRT) to North Shield. Take a cab to the oulet, on the way back pulak we, took the Percy Main Station Metro which is only a walk distanced away from the outlet.

30 Dec 2004- Good Bye London, Welcome to Newcastle

Ok...enuff for london..its time to leave and heading for Newcastle, my hometown  , we travelled by bus...no way I am gonna use bus after this experience..8 hours okkkkkk...the seats was soooooo kecik.Lagi best bas from KL-Seremban or JB-KL.
Tp takpe, tak cuba kan..so tak tau la apa rasanye.8am on the dot, we went to Victoria Station, to cathced the 9.30am bus. Serius lapar, makan muffin je dlm bas.
Once we reached newcastle, we went straight away to my place, Leazes Terrace...and went to Salam Bombay for dinner. Puas makan...
Ok la...tgk je la gambar2 ni..

29 Dec 2004- Kensington Palace, Arsenal, London Eye
|
|
Our trip to kensington palace was actually not in our plan. We were just walking around at the park, breathing the morning fresh air after breakfast then suddenly came across this palace at the other side of the park. Paid 10pound per person, went inside the palace, n see how does english palace look likes. It was interesting though, the exhibition of The Late Lady D's n the queen's dresses (dr zaman anak dara sampaila dah tua) was cool too, dpt bayangkan ketinggian Diana tu. But it was prohibited from taking pictures in the palace...so, theres no pictures to show hows actually the palace look like inside...takde la apa sgt..its just that u can imagine how the royalties lived their life in the castle ...giler boring..gloomy..best lagi my home in selayang...hehe.
Then, my father n banglong was so enthusiastic to go the arsenal stadium, The Highbury Stadium kot nama dia... Thanx to Aidil bagi direction, I asked azam but azam is just like me, we dont fancy football..hehe.
Tp kesian ayah tak dpt masuk bcos the stadium only open to public on friday.. So he can only peeking thru the gate, nampak la jugak sikit padang rumput tu hehe. Its ok ayah, next time we go there again.
After the Arsenal, we went to the London Eye, unfortunately it was 5 o'clock oreidi, n dark.Dlm gambar tak nampak apa sgt wpon sebenarnye from inside the cable we can see London cantikkkkk sgt.
Anyway..I have to thanx to Azam n Aidil who gave me the directions to all places that we went to in London.Entah berapa kali tipon dlm sehari nak tanya direction. Sampai melambung la my phone bill last month..hehe. Thanx for the map( reliable jugak ur map tu) and thanx sanggup berjalan kaki fr leicester sq to bayswater the day before my family arrived (for showing the direction)..can't thanx u both enough...
p/s: the duvets is still save with me...hehe

Finally I fulfilled my dream,that is, bought a hairy scarf..wat da ya think??kewl huh??tak kisah la if u dont like it,(my mum says its looks like janggut benggali), yg penting i sukaaaaaaa sgt..hehe....and I bought 2 dozens of krispy creme doughnuts in Harrods for my family, sesaja nak kasi dioarang try plak, sanggup tu I beratur panjang2. Sedap giler donuts tu, tak percaya try la...ini Azam la punye keje ni..introduced the the doughnuts to me..dah rasa ketagihan donut2 tu plak..isk

27 Dec 04-Ashford International

This is the only activity we did that day.So, theres not so many pictures taken.We went to ashford int. by train..it tooks only 1 hour from london. Its one of the designer outlet in UK.But the biggest one is in Liverpool, Chesire Oak if I'm not mistaken. Ada clarks, gap, levis, nike, adidas, Marks n spencer and byk la lagi brand desinger2 yg lain...i bought pair of glove and a calender je. My mum borong crystal, my bros bought clark shoes je kot n ayah tak beli apa2 rasanye.....letih but enjoy jugak..
